April 2020 – New Project Awarded, City of Aurora & Aurora Water
Aurora, CO – JHL has been selected to complete this $12 million Raw Water Facility for Aurora Water! The work consists of an 8,000 GSF cast-in-place and precast concrete structure and associated site/infrastructure work. The scope of the project will relocate and enclose the 42” diameter Quincy Reservoir supply line and the 62” diameter Rampart Range Reservoir supply line into the Griswold Water Treatment Facility.
JHL will be self-performing a large portion of the work, including the cast-in-place concrete package which consists of 36” thick, 20’ tall high wall. JHL will also be self-performing the installation of the new 42” and 60” steel distribution piping. When complete, the new work will accommodate concurrent valve operation to cover a flow range between 0 and 120 MGD.
