Rocky Mountain Rail Park
JHL is the design-builder for this 640-acre greenfield development that includes water / wastewater conveyance systems, sewer lift station, water treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant, four water supply wells, 3,000,000 CY of earthwork, 160-foot span bridge, 18 miles of rail line, floodway relocation and three miles of roadway. This multi-jurisdiction project required substantial design and construction coordination. JHL’s Phase I project work included a temporary water treatment plant, wastewater storage lagoon, fire suppression water storage and pumping systems, controls and monitoring, instrumentation, roadways, site restoration and significant coordination with residents, public utilities, CDPHE, and CDOT. Phase II work has begun and is expected to be complete in early 2024.
