WISE DIA Connection

The project includes installation of approximately 6 miles of 18-inch diameter, owner-provided PVC waterline from Denver Water’s Conduit No. 147, located on airport property,  to Aurora’s Prairie Water Pump Station No.2 near E470 and E 96th Avenue. The pipeline alignment is typically through open fields adjacent to roads in Denver International Airport and Commerce City.  The alignment crosses several drainage and gas pipelines. There is a horizontal directional drill installation under Third Creek and an auger bore crossing under E470. The scope also includes construction of a Flow Control Building at Pump Station No. 2 where the flow will be regulated, measured and analyzed prior to the pipeline’s connection to the Prairie Water pipeline.
